I'm a professor who explored The Artist's Way (TAW) for the reasons you mentioned. I realized that scholarly work is an outlet for my creativity, and I wanted to more intentionally nurture my creative self. I've attempted TAW twice, but have read the book in its entirety. Although the rich white women privilege and religious undertones were a bit grating, I got a lot out of engaging with her ideas. Morning pages have been transformational for me.
I look forward to following your journey! While I won't be re-reading TAW, I really appreciate your addition of Black creatives to the curriculum and will be reading their works!
This is a great idea and I’m in! I had the same thought about increasing my creativity some time back when I read Creative Quest by Questlove (recommend it), but then I never did much after reading the book. Thanks for the “program.”
Sorry. Dictation is difficult and prone to error. Incidentally, do you still double space after a period? It’s a hard habit to break for a guy who typed this dissertation. The error: lackadaisical became, for some “deus ex machina“, lack, a physical. Scheisse. Tenga cuidado. Pepe
Very interesting. I don’t feel qualified to join you since I’m an 80 year-old failed academic I have retired from unemployment a long time ago. My wife has kept me in the style to which I’ve become accustomed for a long time. She is an emerita professor so I adoringly watched her career grow over the years. She taught me all of the things I should have done rather than the things I did to further my career. I’m an historian of science, but increasingly more interested in history with a somewhat lack, a physical interest in sciences. These seem to me to be mere jargon. But let’s leave that for another occasion.
With your permission, I’d like to tune in to your program once in a while and see how you’re doing. Thank you. José Alfredo Bach. Otherwise known as Pepe.
This sounds awesome Prof! I am going to try my best to stay on point!
Awesome, lets go!

I’m a writer. I need this. Thank you for sharing, and I’m in!
